Scott Mell
Scott joined the practice as a trainee chartered accountant and qualified in 1993. With more than 20 years experience of working with clients from sole traders to large incorporated organisations, Scott has a wealth of knowledge which clients can access to help them meet the challenges and opportunities in today’s highly competitive market.
Scott has detailed knowledge of the charities sector and acts for a large number of not for profit organisations.
Scott is classed as a Responsible Individual and looks after a large number of the firm’s audit assignments. He is also responsible for technical compliance matters within the office and deals with specialist assignments such as valuations and due diligence.
Outside the office, Scott is Chair of Governors at his local nursery and infant school and is actively involved in running the children’s football team which his son plays for. In his spare time Scott enjoys most sports, particularly football, and is a keen amateur runner.
