Robert joined Gibson Booth in 1998 and qualified in 2001. Robert specialises in looking after Gibson Booth’s many family/owner managed businesses. As such, clients benefit from Robert’s skills in strategic planning, business planning and profit improvement, with specific emphasis on tax planning and unincorporated businesses

Robert’s key strengths include developing close working relationships with clients to cover strong business advisory and development roles. He has experience in all aspects of business management involving operational, strategic and financial decision making.
Robert is a Responsible Individual within the firm, and as such is responsible for numerous audit assignments including the firm’s Solicitors’ Accounts Rules clients.
Outside of the office Robert enjoys running, football, golf and has an active social life which includes being a member of Barnsley Rockley Rotary Club.
